Meet Ms. Selena Serrano
Ms. Cora is a Kindermusik accredited educator with Busy Beats Music. She is excited to partner with you and your family to help build bonds, build brains, and build budding musicians. As a mother of two young children, she comes to you with degrees in elementary education as well as music. With her wealth of knowledge and experience she brings a creative spirit and energy into the classroom creating a supportive and nurturing environment for you and your little ones.
My name is Selena and I moved from Miami to Texas in 2013. I was a performing singer, recording artist, and voice teacher in Miami and when I moved to Texas it was a huge change. I was a new mommy, who left her career, friends, and family behind. I didn’t recognize myself, my surroundings or my new life. But thankfully, I returned to my old comforting friend....music. Through my baby boys, my passion for teaching early childhood music education was rekindled and soon, Busy Beats Music was born. We have grown and expanded to several schools and studios in the Houston area and today not only do I teach music, but I continue to tour as a singer in different bands. I have been blessed to make new incredible friends on this journey and am so thankful to call them FAMILY. I look forward to continuing this journey and sharing more classes in Cypress and surrounding areas in the near future.

Busy Beats Music is honored to be an award winning Top Program studio. With more than 35 years of experience as the leader in musical learning, Kindermusik International understands music’s unique ability to impact children (and families!) in profound ways. Across private studios, public schools, and childcare centers in over 70 countries, children, parents, and teachers enjoy participating in Kindermusik’s fun, developmentally specific, and research-based music and movement classes. Parents also appreciate how enrollment in Kindermusik includes home materials, including their favorite songs, stories, and learning activities from class, so families can “play” Kindermusik wherever they go.
Our Mission is to inspire a lifelong love of learning and nurturing through music and movement. Making music accessible, inclusive and convenient for children and their grown-ups by bringing classes to schools, daycares, after school programs and virtually.
